Product family targets O-RAN, Non-Terrestrial Networks, AI security, blockchain acceleration, and high-performance networking.
March 2025 – Hawkeye Tech, Co., Ltd. (“Hawkeye Tech”), a leader in high-performance hardware acceleration solutions, announces a portfolio of Multi-access Edge Computing (MEC) systems and DPU PCIe accelerator cards built on the Marvell® OCTEON 10™ processor family. Designed to address the growing performance and efficiency demands of distributed edge, telecommunication, and AI-driven workloads, the platforms deliver scalable compute, advanced I/O, and architectural flexibility across a wide range of deployment scenarios.
Leveraging the ARM® Neoverse™ N2 core architecture and high-speed PCIe connectivity, Hawkeye Tech’s OCTEON 10-based solutions are optimized for applications spanning Telco O-RAN, Low Earth Orbit Services (LEOS) in Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), AI security, AI blockchain processing, and high-performance networking.
MEC Platforms for Edge and Telco Deployments
Hawkeye Tech is offering four MEC systems tailored to different performance tiers and deployment requirements:
- ERS-5320
Powered by the Marvell OCTEON 10 CN10624S, the ERS-5320 integrates 24 ARM Neoverse N2 cores with PCIe Gen 5 support. The platform is designed for demanding edge workloads, including Telco O-RAN, LEOS in NTN practices, AI security, AI blockchain processing, and advanced networking applications.
- ERS-5430
Based on the Marvell OCTEON 10 CN10624, the ERS-5430 also features 24 ARM Neoverse N2 cores and PCIe Gen 5 connectivity. It targets similar high-performance use cases, with an emphasis on carrier-grade O-RAN deployments, non-terrestrial networking scenarios, and AI-accelerated edge services.
- ERS-5511
Powered by the Marvell OCTEON 10 CN10308, the ERS-5511 provides 8 ARM Neoverse N2 cores with PCIe Gen 5 support. This system is optimized for Telco-oriented AI security, AI blockchain workloads, and networking applications requiring a balance of performance and power efficiency.
- ERS-5510
Utilizing the Marvell OCTEON 10 CN10208, the ERS-5510 integrates 8 ARM Neoverse N2 cores and PCIe Gen 3 connectivity. It is designed for AI security and networking use cases where cost efficiency and compact edge deployment are key considerations.
DPU PCIe Accelerator Cards for Host Offload and Acceleration
Complementing the MEC systems, Hawkeye Tech is also offering two DPU PCIe accelerator cards that bring OCTEON 10 capabilities directly into server platforms:
- HCB-5421
The HCB-5421 is a PCIe Gen 5 end-point accelerator powered by the Marvell OCTEON 10 CN10624, featuring 24 ARM Neoverse N2 cores. It is designed for high-performance Telco O-RAN, LEOS in NTN, AI security, AI blockchain, and networking offload applications.
- HCB-5500
Powered by the Marvell OCTEON 10 CN10308, the HCB-5500 integrates 8 ARM Neoverse N2 cores with PCIe Gen 5 support, targeting efficient acceleration and offload for AI security and networking workloads.
A Unified Architecture for Diverse Use Cases
By standardizing on the Marvell OCTEON 10 processor family across both MEC systems and DPU accelerator cards, Hawkeye Tech enables customers to deploy a consistent software and development environment while scaling performance across different form factors and deployment models. This unified approach simplifies integration, accelerates time to market, and supports the evolving needs of edge-native, AI-driven, and telecom infrastructures.
